Who Can Apply?

The incentive program is available to a wide range of businesses.

Things to know:

• The Standard Incentive Program provides incentives to support commercial businesses installing new, more efficient equipment retrofits. Standard incentives are paid per unit installed.
• You must be a non-residential electric customer of Ameren in Missouri to be eligible. Ameren electric business customers cannot receive incentives on any lighting products discounted through Ameren Missouri Residential Energy Efficiency program.
• Exterior lighting projects require pre-approval to qualify for the incentives.
• To be eligible, existing in-service (working) equipment must be replaced with new, energy-efficient models. The new equipment must align with the specified eligibility guidelines available in the applications.

How To Apply:

1. Determine Pre-Approval Need: If your incentive request exceeds $10,000, pre-approval is required.
2. Pre-Approval Process: Submit the application. Do not start installations or issue purchase orders until pre-approved and informed about any required pre-inspection.
3. Without Pre-Approval: Submit for "funds reserved" or commence the project.
4. Submit Completion Documents: Once completed, send the Incentive Payment Request Form with all required documents. Approval leads to payment within 60 days.
5. Post-Installation Inspection: May occur following final application submission.
