Journeyman Electrician
Brda Electric Inc. is growing quickly, and we’re hiring! We are currently in need of an experienced and skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, commercial tenant finishes, build outs, service calls, lighting jobs, and more. Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment 480 volts and less
- Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code
- Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears
- Complete work orders given digitally and record materials / pictures
- Low voltage wiring experience preferred but not required
- Office build outs
- Office remodels
- New Wiring
- Must be able to run conduit
- Utilize prints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects
- Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans
Required Skills:
- High school diploma/GED required
- 6+ years’ experience in the electrical trade
- Able to work well on a team
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
