Faith Church in Fairview Heights, IL, sought to reimagine a former movie theater into a vibrant and functional church. Brda Electric played a pivotal role in this transformation by delivering a complete electrical solution tailored to their worship, educational, and community activities. Our team tackled every detail, from replacing outdated infrastructure to installing cutting-edge systems, ensuring seamless integration of modern amenities and energy-efficient technologies.
The project required precise planning and execution, particularly with the integration of lighting and data systems to meet the church’s operational demands, including stage lighting and audio-visual capabilities.

Installation included:
Power Distribution:
- Furnished and installed over 100 tamper-proof, GFI, and standard receptacles across the facility, including specialized outlets for sound racks and stage equipment.
- Wired dedicated circuits for IT racks and critical kitchen and HVAC equipment.
Lighting Solutions:
- Installed 300+ light fixtures, ranging from energy-efficient LED systems to specialized fixtures for stage and house lighting.
- Integrated advanced lighting controls, including photocells, occupancy sensors, and dimmable switches for optimal energy management.
Data and Communication:
- Wired over 50 Cat 6 data locations, including WAPs and HDMI ports for seamless connectivity throughout the facility.
- Installed floor boxes with power and data receptacles for flexibility and future expansion.
Fire Alarm System:
- Installed a fire alarm control panel and multiple safety devices for compliance and enhanced security.
Exterior Work:
- Removed and replaced outdated pole lights with new island-mounted poles featuring traffic-rated bases and LED heads.
- Completed boring and trenching for power connections to exterior GFI pedestals and signage.
